The fire broke out at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9 at 948 Route 33, Howell police said. A 9-1-1 call was placed by an Eatontown firefighter who observed smoke coming from the residence. Rides Evacuated After Power Lost At Six Flags Great Adventure A brief power outage prompted the evacuation of rides at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township on Monday, authorities said. The loss of electricity left some park-goers stuck on rides for up to 25 minutes, but no one was hurt, said Kristen Fitzgerald, a park spokeswoman.
