NJ Luxury Car Trafficking Ring Dismantled, Four Arrests Made, Prosecutor Says
Four teenagers were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12 and charged for their participation in an auto theft trafficking network in North Jersey, authorities said. Two juveniles, a 16-year-old Newark resident and a 17-year-old Jersey City resident would use stolen Kias, Hondas and Hyundais to look for high-end luxury vehicles like BMWs and Mercedes, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. Passenger Jumps Out Of Moving SUV On NJ Turnpike In Bergen County: Police
One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after plunging out of a moving vehicle along the New Jersey Turnpike, police said. A Hyundai SUV was traveling north on the western spur in East Rutherford at milepost 113.2 around 9:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 when the front seat passenger jumped from the moving car, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The passenger struck the pavement and sustained serious injuries. No further information was provided.

Staten Island Motorcyclist, 27, Killed In Route 287 Crash
A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Staten Island died in a weekend crash on Route 287 in Somerset County, authorities said. Durmish Golesh was heading north on a Kawasaki when he rear-ended a Hyundai, overturned, and struck the back of an Infiniti around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Far Hills, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Golesh was thrown from the bike and died, Lebron said. No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.

A road worker was struck along Interstate 295 in Mercer County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the crash at about 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 on I-295 north milepost 76.4 in Ewing Township. 23-Year-Old Airlifted After Driver Sends Car Into Oncoming Traffic On I-78: Police
A 23-year-old woman was flown to the hospital in a crash on Interstate 78 Sunday, June 25, New Jersey State Police said. An Acura Integra driven by a 23-year-old Manville man ran off the highway to the left and crossed the center median, entering the westbound lanes around 9 a.m. near milepost 22.7, in Clinton Township, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan said. The Acura was struck by a westbound Hyundai. The 23-year-old Acura driver was seriously injured, as was his passenger, a Middlesex woman, who was flown to the hospital.
