Talented Somerset County Musician Emily Raber Dies At 23 Beloved Somerset County high school graduate and gifted musician Emily Jin Raber (Jin Silan) died Friday, April 28 at age 23. Born in Shantou, China, Emily was adopted when she was 18 months old, her obituary says. Emily attended Christ the King School and Hillsborough High School, where she was known for her athletic ability in track and skateboarding. She later went to Raritan Valley Community College and Rowan University before becoming self-employed as a caretaker for children. Lawsuit Filed Over Disabled Student's Dismissal From Hillsborough Prom: Report A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of a student with Down syndrome who was ordered to leave the Hillsborough High School prom before it ended, mycentraljersey.com reported.   Lily Doyle was among 11 students asked to leave the prom, which was held in May. Most of the other students are also special needs.  An aide told the group that they would be leaving about an hour before the prom concluded even though a limo had been reserved and was scheduled to arrive around the time the prom was supposed to end.  The school district later apologized for the incident.  The …
