Bofinger, of Hewitt, was the only person on board the single-engine Beechcraft 35 that crashed under unknown circumstances and then burst into flames Sunday afternoon, May 21, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.  The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating, the FAA said.
