Man, 24, Drowns In Lake At Central PA State Park A 24-year-old man drowned in a lake located in a Pennsylvania State Park Saturday, York County officials said. The unidentified male was out with family on a pontoon rental when they all decided to swim close to the shore around 7 p.m. in Lake Marburg at Codorus State Park, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. The victim was reportedly a good swimmer and was using a camera under water. His family realized he hadn't resurfaced, and so all went back in the waters to find him, Gay said. Beware: Weather Service Warns Against Rip-Tide Swimming As Temperatures Rise The National Weather Service is warning that there is a "high risk" of rip tide currents this weekend at New Jersey and Delaware beaches, just as temperatures are expected to climb up into the 90s. An offshore storm is expected to cause swells, making swimming potentially dangerous, according to forecasts. “Remember, the ocean water temperature is only around 60 degrees and many beaches are not yet staffed with lifeguards,” the NWS’s Mount Holly station said on Twitter.  The National Weather Service is warning weekend beachgoers that there could be rip currents in NJ and Delaware. Neptune Township Police Thank Bystanders Who Helped Free Bicyclist Pinned Under SUV Police took to social media Tuesday to thank Good Samaritans who helped rescue a bicyclist trapped under an SUV.  "Upon arrival, officers found the injured man trapped almost completely underneath the vehicle, unable to move," Neptune Township police said on Facebook. The unidentified man riding the bike was struck on Route 35 and pinned under a red Nissan last week.  Police officers began trying to move the vehicle enough to render aid.
