Recycling Center Supervisor Killed In Ocean County Workplace Incident Was Firefighter, Dad
Services have been set for a father of two who was killed in a workplace incident at the Ocean County Northern Recycling Center. Timothy Hannold, 50, had entered a container being moved at the recycling center on Towbin Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 31, Lakewood Police Capt. Greg Staffordsmith said in a statement. Workers unaware of Hannold's presence tried to "upright the dumpster," causing the doors to shift and pin Holland up against an inside wall, Staffordsmith said. Woman Was High On Narcotics In NJ Crash That Killed Toddler: Prosecutors
A Monmouth County woman was under the influence of drugs in a crash that killed a young girl last month, authorities said. Samantha Bonora, 31, of Howell, was charged with one count of first-degree aggravated manslaughter and two counts of second-degree aggravated assault, in the Jan. 13 collision that killed Kylie Williams, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced on Friday, Feb. 2. Indian Immigrant Stabbed In Jersey City Park, Local Man Charged In Random Attack
Jersey City police have charged a 22-year-old city man with repeatedly stabbing an Indian immigrant at a local park in what the victim's friends called a "senseless act of discrimination." The victim, 28-year-old Ojas Junnarkar, was walking alone on the running track at Pershing Field when he was assaulted shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, friends said. A pediatrician from Monmouth County is accused of leaving the scene of a crash that injured a man and his daughter in Staten Island, according to officials. Dr. Sam Leuzzi, 66, of Middletown, is facing three charges related to a crash on Staten Island, the New York City Police Department said. The Milmay Volunteer Fire Company said it happened while Michael Black was battling a fire at his career firefighting job at the Phillips 66 refinery in Linden. A family in Honduras is asking for support after a woman was hit and killed by a car in Lakewood on Monday, Jan. 8.
