Crash With Injuries Reported On Route 35 Jersey Shore
There was a crash with injuries reported on Route 35 on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 6:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3 southbound north of Route 537 (Tinton Avenue) in Eatontown, the New Jersey Department of Transporation reported. $1B Netflix Production Studio Replacing Long Vacant NJ Property
A Jersey Shore property that has sat vacant for more than a decade will soon be transformed into a nearly $1 billion Netflix production studio. Man Charged With Prostituting Teenage Girl: Prosecutor
A Monmouth County man has been arrested and charged with promoting the prostitution of a teenager at a Tinton Falls motel, along with numerous other crimes, authorities said. Jerome L. Harbour, 41, is charged with first-degree promoting prostitution of a child, criminal sexual contact, child endangerment, hindering apprehension, obstruction of justice, and drug offenses, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Netflix Aims To Build Production Studios At Former Monmouth County Military Base: Report
Netflix wants to build a huge production facility at the former Fort Monmouth Army base, NJ Advance Media reports. The entertainment company is the top bidder to buy nearly 300 acres in Eatontown being rebuilt by the Fort Monmouth Revitalization Authority, the outlet said. There is “still work to be done” on the deal with state and local leaders, the outlet said citing a Wednesday, Oct. 12 statement from the company. The Envigo beagles are on to the next chapter of their lives: The good part. Five male puppies — among the 4,000 dogs rescued from a mass breading facility in Virginia — have been brought to the Monmouth County SPCA for adoption. Victim Hospitalized After Hitting High Tension Line On Jersey Shore: Report
One person was injured after hitting a high-tension line on Saturday, Aug. 20 in Monmouth County, NJ Advance Media reports. Woman, 91, Critically Hurt In Fire Has Died: Prosecutor
A 91-year-old woman critically hurt in an apartment house fire has died, authorities said. Ethel John was one of five people injured in the fire, which broke out at about 10 a.m. on July 11 at Country Club Apartments in Eatontown, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said. John’s dog also was fatally injured in the fire. Patch.com said the dog died. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The fire was reported before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 11 on Country Club Road in Eatontown, initial reports said. A 30-year-old woman from Monmouth County has been indicted for causing the death of another woman while driving under the influence, authorities said. Ashley Watkins, of Eatontown, was indicted for vehicular homicide, strict liability vehicular homicide and assault by auto, they said. Heroin, Painkillers Seized In Jersey Shore Busts
Brick police made several arrests involving drug possession and sales, authorities said. On Friday, Feb. 11, Brick Street Crimes Unit (SCU) detectives observed suspicious activity in the area of 35 Beaverson Boulevard. Two motor vehicle stops were conducted relating to the activity observed. The first vehicle was occupied by Vincent Infante, 30, of Seaside Heights.
