Dump Truck Flips, Central Jersey Road Closed: Police
South Brunswick police advised motorists to avoid New Road near Route 1 for two hours after a dump truck overturned. At 6:45 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, police responded to the single-vehicle crash on New Road near Woodlot Park. The dump truck landed on its side and had taken down a number of utility wires. There are no injuries in the crash, police said. New Road had reopened by 9:45 a.m. between Route 1 and Wheeler Road. South Brunswick Police Traffic Safety Bureau is investigating the crash.

An overturned dump truck and debris spill closed Route 35 in Monmouth County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 1 p.m. on Friday, July 14 in Aberdeen Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. A dump truck driver was seriously hurt after the vehicle overturned in Morris County Tuesday morning, authorities said. The Long Valley Fire Company responded to the crash on Schooley’s Mountain Road just before 7:10 a.m., the department said. The driver was extricated with help from the local first aid squad and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Dump Truck Overturns, Shuts Down Route 46 In Warren County
A dump truck overturned and shut down Route 46 in Warren County, authorities said. The truck overturned near Quenby Mtn. Road and Pequest Fish Hatchery during the afternoon on Wednesday, June 1, the Mountain Lake Fire Company said. A photo from the scene shows a load of dirt or sand spilled over the roadway with several emergency vehicles. The area between Quenby Mtn. Road and Pequest Fish Hatchery was closed for the crash investigation and cleanup until further notice, police said. It was not immediately clear when the lanes would reopen.

A mason dump truck drove over a propane tank in Sussex County, causing a massive leak that took hours to repair and required an evacuation of the area, authorities said. No, They're Not Repaving Route 17: Truck Keels, Macadam Spills
A dump truck spilled macadam onto a Route 17 exit and entrance ramp Saturday morning. The driver got out OK after the mishap at the southbound exit in Allendale around 9:45 a.m. A heavy duty wrecker was needed to right and remove the truck, as well as equipment, shovels -- and brooms -- to clean up the mess.
