Morris County Traffic Stop Turns Up 110 Heroin Bags, Driver Charged With DWI
Authorities found 110 bags of heroin on the passenger of a car driven by a drunken Jersey Shore driver, authorities said.
Dante Desadrio, 21, of Manalapan, had been drinking when New Jersey State troopers from the Netcong division stopped him after a traffic violation on Route 80 in Mount Olive Thursday, around 12:10 a.m., NJSP said in a statement.
His passenger, Joseph Serpe, 37, of Staten Island, NY, was found in possession of 110 bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia, NJSP said.

Resident Calls, Clifton Police Nab Accused Car Burglar
Clifton police nabbed an accused car burglar with a criminal history, thanks to a call from a local resident.
The Skyview Terrace resident called police shortly before midnight Friday to report a backyard intruder, Detective Sgt. Robert Anderson said.
Responding officers seized Munal Shaabneh, 39, of Clifton and found an outstanding Passaic County warrant, Anderson said.
Shaabneh “entered an unlocked vehicle, parked nearby, and removed various items,” the sergeant said.
Officers found him carrying stolen property along with drug paraphernalia, he said.

Bail Reform: Accused Bergenfield Porch Pirate Released, Returns, Re-Arrested
An accused porch pirate who Bergenfield police caught in the act went right back to the same neighborhood and began casing vehicles for burglaries hours after being released, authorities said.
Police responding to a call of someone swiping packages from a Hillside Avenue porch discovered thefts from three other homes, as well, Detective Lt. William Duran said Friday.
Officer found Dalton Cardone, 21, of Mantua in Gloucester County soon after, Duran said.
Cadone had “stolen the packages, opened them and discarded several of them on the street,” he said.

Police: Phony Female Prostitute, Pals Jump Little Ferry Customer, 28, At South Hackensack Motel
A Little Ferry man thought he was about to hook up with a female prostitute who turned out to be one of three Bronx men who mugged him at a South Hackensack motel, authorities said.
Answering an online ad, the 28-year-old victim brought $100 in cash with him on Wednesday, Capt. Robert Kaiser said.
He was invited into a room, where the trio jumped him, Kaiser said.
