A Bergen County man and a woman from Westchester were busted with 20 pounds of deadly fentanyl and 2½ pounds of cocaine for sale, federal authorities said.
Plinio Junior Pineda Lopez, 33, of Oakland and Lorendy Diaz Beltre De Inoa, 27, of Yonkers were arrested with 1.5 kilos of fentanyl in Wallington, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said Wednesday.

Landlord-Tenant Dispute Leads To Drug Arrest: Brick PD
A landlord-tenant dispute over a potential theft resulted in a drug arrest on the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
On Friday, Aug. 19, at 9 p.m., Brick police located the suspect’s vehicle and identified the driver as Christopher Sherrill, 45, of Brick, police said.
As officers approached Sherril, he allegedly tried to toss a glass pipe containing crystal methamphetamine and resisted attempts to place him under arrest, police said.
In addition to the pipe, Sherrill was found to possess four different types of pills and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Brick Police Make Multiple Drug Arrests In Crackdown
A half dozen drug suspects were arrested by Brick Township police in recent sweeps, authorities said.
On Wednesday, March 16, at about 11 p.m., Brick Street Crimes Unit detectives, working with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, stopped a vehicle on Lanes Mill Road. An investigation led to the arrest of all three occupants with multiple drug charges.

More than 40,000 pills were discovered in the home of a Jersey Shore couple arrested this week in a statewide opioid distribution scheme, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Jason Maxson, 50, and Laurie Maxson, 51 -- who are married -- used their Barnegat home to store and distribute pain medication across New Jersey, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives found not one but two electronically-operated compartments holding more than two pounds of cocaine when they stopped two South Jersey men on the NJ Turnpike, authorities said.
They arrested the driver, identified as Pedro A. Luciano, 32, of Willingboro and Paul Harris, 35, of Camden, both unemployed, following Wednesday’s southbound Route 95 stop in Carlstadt near MetLife Stadium, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
