Morris County native and devoted mother of two young children Ashley Benway died unexpectedly on Friday, April 22. She was 29.
Born in Morristown, Ashley grew up in Madison, where she graduated from high school in 2012, her obituary says.
Ashley had worked as a cashier at ShopRite in Chatham for four years, according to her memorial.

The mastermind of a GoFundMe scheme that conned 14,000 donors across the country out of $400,000 to purportedly benefit a homeless veteran admitted in federal court in New Jersey on Monday that he and his ex-girlfriend pocketed most of the money.
Mark D’Amico, 42, formerly of Bordentown, admitted concocting a bogus feel-good story about the supposed victim coming to the rescue of Katelyn McClure after she ran out of gas on Route 95 on her way home to New Jersey from Philadelphia.
Both McClure and the homeless man, Johnny Bobbitt Jr., were in on the scheme, authorities said.

Sussex County High School Senior Rylee Crouch Dies, 18
High school senior and lifelong Sussex County resident Rylee Clare Crouch died at home on Friday, April 2. She was 18.
Crouch was born in Denville, her obituary says. She lived in Hopatcong and was in her senior year at Hopatcong High School.
Crouch loved to go camping and spend time with her family and close friends, her memorial says.
