President: Out-Of-State Agitators Hijacking Peaceful Protests Will Be Prosecuted
Peaceful protests across the country have been "hijacked by outside radicals and agitators exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate and violent agenda," Attorney General William P. Barr said Saturday. Meanwhile, President Trump called on "Liberal Governors and Mayors” to get “much tougher” in dealing with protesters “or the Federal Government will step in and do what has to be done, and that includes using the unlimited power of our Military and many arrests.” “Crossing State lines to incite violence is a FEDERAL CRIME!" Trump tweeted. Protesters rallied peacefully in Englewoo…

Turns Out Hydroxychloroquine Isn’t Miracle Drug, Experts Say
It turns out an anti-malarial drug hasn’t been the “game changer” as some thought it would be in fighting the coronavirus. It could even prove harmful, experts warn. Researchers have reported no benefit from using hydroxychloroquine in U.S. veterans hospitals, saying they found more deaths among those given the drug than under standard care. In addition, a panel of experts convened by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases recommended that physicians don’t use a suggested combo of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin for the treatment of COVID-19 patients because of poten…

Cosby Among Celebs Denied Prison Release For Coronavirus, Others More Fortunate
COVID-19 concerns may have freed some lesser-known convicts but not Bill Cosby, Bernie Madoff or R. Kelly. Lawyers for Cosby appeared to have some help earlier this month when Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf allowed a temporary reprieve for an estimated 1,500 to 1,800 vulnerable and nonviolent prisoners at or close to their release dates. The only trouble was: Sex offenders in the Keystone State aren’t eligible for reprieves, a corrections spokesperson said. That rules out Cosby, 82, who’s serving a three- to 10-year sentence in a state prison outside Philadelphia for drugging and sexually assa…

President Trump said he was considering imposing a brief mandatory quarantine on New Jersey, New York and Connecticut sometime Saturday to keep the coronavirus from spreading to the rest of the country. "We'd like to see New York quarantined because it's a hotspot — New York, New Jersey, maybe one or two other places, certain parts of Connecticut quarantined," the president told reporters. "We might not have to do it, but there's a possibility that sometime today we'll do a quarantine — short term two weeks for New York, probably New Jersey and parts of Connecticut," he said. Trump followe…

Murphy's Restrictions Partially Close Trump's Bedminster Golf Course
COVID-19 concerns have prompted President Trump to cease most operations at his golf club in Bedminster, reports say. The facility’s clubhouse and gym, as well as its restaurants, are closed until further notice, General Manager David Schutzenhofer told the Washington Post. Murphy’s measures include limiting restaurants to take-out, delivery or drive-thru options and restricting gatherings of more than 50 people. While the golf courses will stay open, caddies and motorized carts will be unavailable, officials said. No word on when the club will reopen.

Social Distancing: What About The Kids?
Two things were inevitable after Americans were asked to stay home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus: Youngsters would spend more time outside with their friends and parents would spend more time on Facebook. Sure enough, exchanges among parents in large social media groups are increasing over the wisdom of large teen gatherings. It flared Wednesday in one of the dwindling number of North Jersey municipalities where public parks have remained open amid the pandemic. It was two days earlier that President Trump, speaking with alarming concern, asked the nation to avoid gathering in …
