Essex County Pair Nabbed In Route 22 Gas Station Burglaries
Two Essex County men were arrested in connection with a pair of Route 22 gas station robberies, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday.
Abufurgan Ahmad, 54, of Newark, burglarized gas stations on Route 22 on April 15 and May 9, and was joined by Coleman Holden, 51, of East Orange, in the second incident, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson said.

Nearly two dozen people from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. have been charged with causing a combined $125,000 in damages in Morris County from graffiti and vandalism over the past year.
The long-term investigation into “graffiti-style criminal mischief” resulted in a total of 22 arrests, Hanover Police Chief Mark Roddy said Monday.

A Sussex County man went on a rampage at an Oak Ridge bar, breaking glasses, lights and shattering the building’s back door window, authorities charged.
Adam Waciura, 40, of Sparta, caused the damage during an altercation at the Daily Planet in Oak Ridge on Feb. 6, Jefferson Township Police said.
Waciura is accused of shattering several glasses, a pool table light and a back door window, police said.
