A 66-year-old Morris County man was stabbed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan on Monday, April 22, authorities said. Michael McCloskey, 42, of California, was taken into custody by Port Authority police officers who heard the victim's screams at the north subway mezzanine level of the terminal just before 5:45 a.m., Port Authority Police of New York and New Jersey, and its PBA said. A Monmouth County man will remain in jail after he was accused of trying to kidnap a teen girl and groping a woman in a Target parking lot during a two-county crime spree, authorities said. Quamel Benton, 35, of Farmingdale, was ordered by a judge on Wednesday, Apr. 10 to remain in Burlington County Jail through his trial, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. A group of young boys from Old Tappan are accused of sodomizing another with a sex toy. According to multiple parents, the 8th graders pooled their money to buy the penis-shaped sex aid from a popular gift company. A man with a handgun robbed a 7-11 store along Route 9 in Old Bridge, authorities said. The robbery occurred at about 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, according to Old Bridge police spokesman Captain Michael J. Snee.
