DUI Driver Crashed Stolen Car On Route 1: Police
Authorities have identified the driver of a stolen car that crashed into a utility pole along Route 1 in Central Jersey.
Jordan White, 35, of Paterson, crashed on Friday,, June 28, South Brunswick police said. He was seriously injured, they said.
White allegedly was under the influence of drugs, police said, and the 2007 Lincoln Town car he was driving was stolen.
He was charged with receiving stolen property, driving under the influence, and numerous motor vehicle violations, police said.
Winners: Mega Millions Lottery Players Take Home $10K
There were a pair of $10,000 Mega Millions lottery winners last week in Central Jersey.
The winning numbers drawn on March 26 were: 7, 11, 22, 29, and 38 and the Megaball was 4. The Megaplier was 2x.
The winning tickets were sold at:
Acme, 400 S. Broad St. in Yardville, Mercer County, and;
Krauszer's, 191 Old Bridge Turnpike in East Brunswick, Middlesex County.
Winner: Powerball Lottery Player Takes Home $50K In Central Jersey
A Powerball player in Central Jersey won $50,000, according to state Lottery officials.
The winning ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn on Monday, Sept. 25.
The ticket was sold in Middlesex County at Welsh Farms, 1530C Oak Tree Rd., Iselin.
There were two other $50,000 winners in Essex and Warren counties.
The winning numbers for the Monday, Sept. 25, drawing were: 10, 12, 22, 36, and 50. The Red Power Ball number was 04. The Power Play was 2X.
The Powerball jackpot rolls to $835 million for the next drawing to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
