Man Steals Central Jersey Police Car, Crashes It Twice: Report A Paterson man was arrested after stealing a South Amboy police car and getting into two different crashes, NJ Advance Media reported. Woodbridge police responded to the stolen car at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, July 4. After crashing the stolen car on Route 35, Jamil T. Robinson, 28, fled on foot and allegedly tried to carjack three other vehicles, the outlet said. Robinson was charged with three counts of carjacking, as well as assault by auto, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, obstruction, and endangering an injured victim, according to the report.
