The death of a Florence woman whose body was found inside her home earlier this week has been ruled a homicide, authorities said. Police found Sheila Maguire, 54, late Monday afternoon after family members requested a wellness check at her residence in the 200 block of Birch Hollow Drive because they had been unable to reach her for a few days, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. : Woman Found Dead In South Jersey Motel, Authorities Say
A woman was found dead in an apparent homicide at a South Jersey motel, authorities said. The unidentified victim's body was found inside a room at the Bel-Air Motor Lodge in Maple Shade, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said. The investigation began just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, when police were called to the motel in the 2800 block of Route 73 for a report of an unresponsive female, Coffina said. Authorities on Wednesday identified the man whose body was found behind a Mount Holly convenience store by a child as a 31-year-old Brick Township man. Authorities have identified the driver killed Monday night in a five-car collision on the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. Gerardo Francisco Perez Martinez, 35, of Camden died in the head-on crash, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. A 32-year-old man from Burlington County was fatally shot late Friday, authorities said. Beverly police officers were called to the Delacove Homes public complex about 10:15 p.m. on a report of a shooting, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Beverly City Public Safety Director Rich Wolbert. A 28-year-old man from Burlington County was fatally shot early Thursday outside of his home, authorities said. Barry Barino of the Millbrook Park section of Willingboro Township was killed about 1:30 a.m., Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Willingboro Township Public Safety Director Kinamo Lomon said.
