Masked Target Store Masturbator At Large, Police In NJ Town Say
A man is at large in Bridgewater after he masturbated at Target twice on Thursday, May 23, police said. Officers responded to the Target at 200 Promenade Blvd. on a report of a man masturbating in front of another customer, Bridgewater police said in a release. Two hours prior, he had masturbated in front of a customer at the same Target without them realizing, police said. Charges have yet to be filed against a 73-year-old driver who fatally struck a 77-year-old woman Sunday, Nov. 19 in Bridgewater Township, police said. Maria Zuniga was crossing Union Avenue near Finderne Avenue at 9:55 a.m. attempting to reach a bus stop when she was struck by a 2015 Honda CRV driven by a 73-year-old Somerville man heading east, Bridgewater Police Officer Cole Taggert said. Manville Man In His 30s Dies In Route 22 Crash
A man in his 30s died in a crash on Route 22 in Somerset County Wednesday, authorities said. Bound Brook police responded to the eastbound side of the roadway following multiple 911 calls reporting a crash between Vosseller and Mountain avenues around 11:20 a.m., Deputy Chief Kevin Rivenbark said. An orange box at the memorial site of a 22-year-old man killed in a Bridgewater crash last year has gone missing. The box contains handwritten notes, stickers and bracelets that loved ones placed at a tree on Garretson Road, remembering Brian Conklin. Police: Somerset Bus Driver, 76, Made Inappropriate Comments To Female Student, 13
A 76-year-old Somerset County Educational Services bus driver was charged with harassment after making inappropriate students to a 13-year-old female student, authorities said. The Bridgewater-Raritan student was the only passenger on the bus when Joseph Galietti made the comments, Bridgewater police said. Galietti was arrested around 2 p.m. on March 10, authorities said. "Galietti was interviewed by detectives and based upon statements and evidence, the charge of harassment was sustained," local police said. The investigation is ongoing.
