Jersey Shore Men Admit Running Drug Production Facility, Prosecutor Says
Two men from Ocean County have admitted to running a drug production facility, authorities said.
Jose Quintero-DeJesus, 37, of Brick Township, and Victor Mendoza-Gutierrez, 26, of Manchester, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility, according to the Ocean County prosecutor.
When they are sentenced on Dec. 17, the State will be seeking a term of eight years New Jersey State Prison for each defendant, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billmyer said.

A 30-year-old man from Ocean County has been indicted in connection with his father's alleged murder-for-hire, authorities said.
Mark J. Austin, 30, of Brick Township, was charged Thursday with murder and weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
The son faces life in prison without parole if found guilty of murder-for-hire, the prosecutor said.
Austin allegedly killed his father, Mark Richard Austin, on Sept. 7, 2019, in Brick Township, the prosecutor said.

NJ Man Found Dead Behind Convenience Store Was With His Killer Hours Before, Authorities Say
A man whose body was found earlier this week behind a Mount Holly convenience store had been stabbed to death by a local resident, authorities said Friday.
Jimir Wynn, 29, stabbed Sean Reynolds, 31, of Brick Township, multiple times the night of Sept. 6, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Mount Holly Township Police Chief Richard Spitler said.
Reynolds had been at Wynn's home earlier that evening, they said.

Police: Man, 62, Caught Snapping Upskirt Photos In Jersey Shore ShopRite
A 62-year-old Brick Township man was arrested for taking upskirt photos of a female in a supermarket, authorities said.
A witness told police they saw a man, later identified as Donald Sheridan, holding his cell phone under the dress of a female victim in Shoprite in Kohl’s Plaza on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m., police said in a news release.
The witness immediately confronted Sheridan, yelling, “I know what you’re doing," police said.
The witness stayed with Sheridan while the victim advised store personnel to call the police.
