Campfire Accidentally Sparked Huge Wildfire Near Jersey Shore Neighborhood: Investigators An illegal and abandoned campfire started a massive wildfire that burned for three days in Ocean County, authorities said. Berkeley PD: Driver Under Influence In Head-On Crash That Sent 3 To Hospital A 33-year-old from Berkeley was charged with DWI in connection with a head-on weekend crash that sent the driver of the other car and two children to the hospital. Robert Chelston also was charged with several drug offenses following the crash near Double Trouble Road, south of the Garden State Parkway entrance, Berkeley police announced on Facebook.
