: Firefighters, Colleagues Remove Concrete Worker Who Fell Into Open Fair Lawn Foundation
PHOTOS: Fair Lawn firefighters used a combination of ladders, wooden slats and ropes to rescue a construction worker who fell more than 10 feet into an open foundation on Wednesday. The worker was in obvious pain after suffering injuries that responders said weren't considered life-threatening in the Berdan Avenue mishap near Philip Street. Van Whacks Utility Pole In Fair Lawn
No injuries were reported after a van slammed into a utility pole Friday afternoon in Fair Lawn. Fair Lawn police and EMS responded to the crash at Plaza Road and Berdan Avenue. A flatbed tow truck removed the van. Boyd A. Loving took the photo and provided this account.

'Someone Ran A Light' In Three-Vehicle Fair Lawn Crash
No one was injured in a three-car Fair Lawn crash Monday afternoon, responders said. A Toyota ended up crashing into a tree after colliding with a Chevy that was, in turn, struck from behind by a third vehicle at the corner of Berdan Avenue and Plaza Road around 2:45 p.m. One person complained of a hip injury but declined medical treatment, responders said.
