A DJ whose business came to a screeching halt due to COVID-19 has opened a candy and ice cream shop on the Jersey Shore. Haven’s Sweet Shop opened last month on Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant. When his DJ company Xplosive Entertainment saw a sharp decline in business this March because, Michael Langsner, 42 of Brick, knew he needed another plan. Metuchen Man Charged After String Of Burglaries In Point Pleasant
A 39-year-old man was charged Tuesday with criminal mischief and theft after burglaries were reported at a Point Pleasant gas station as well as near Bay Avenue, police said. Steven Lawson of Metuchen was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief linked to a burglary at the Conoco Gas Station on Route 88 in September 2019, Point Pleasant police said. Cash and merchandise were stolen from the Conoco Station, police said. Lawson was additionally charged with four counts of burglary and theft for taking items unlocked vehicles in December 20…
