Bally's Casino HVAC Tech, Army Vet James Osler Jr. Dies, 36 James "Jim" Osler, of Somers Point, died on Aug. 24 due to complications of kidney disease, according to his obituary on the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home website. He was 36 years old. A U.S. Army veteran who served six years, Jim worked as an HVAC Technician for the Local 68 at Bally's Casino in Atlantic City, his obituary says. Victim Takes Fatal Fall From Bally's Casino Parking Garage, Atlantic City Police Say An unidentified man fell from Bally's casino parking garage in Atlantic City and was found in the street, authorities said. The man, whose identity had not been released pending notification of kin, reportedly fell at 6:38 a.m. Monday on the beach block of Michigan Avenue, Atlantic City police said.  It was not clear how many stories he fell from. Atlantic City Man Charged In OD Deaths Of UK Men In Bally's Casino An Atlantic City man was charged in the overdose deaths of two men from the United Kingdom at Bally's Casino in March 2020, authorities said. Tyrell Gist, 32, is accused of selling Scott P. Jordon, 43, and Simon Gamble, 40, the drugs that ultimately killed them, Atlantic City Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said. Gist is facing two counts of strict liability homicide and multiple drug offenses.
