Hotel-Based Atlantic City Ex-Con Drug Dealer Gets 30 Years, No Parole, In Federal Prison
A drug dealer who operated out of a hotel room just off the Atlantic City boardwalk must spend the next 30 years in federal prison. Sean Figaro, 35, rejected a deal from prosecutors, went to trial and was convicted by federal jurors Camden in July 2019 of selling heroin, gun possession by a convicted felon and witness tampering, among other charges. Shock, Sadness Spread After Woman Slain In Atlantic County
A 30-year-old woman was fatally shot overnight in Atlantic County, authorities said. Jazmen Martin-Richardson, 30, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 1000 block of Iowa Avenue, Pleasantville on Monday, May 23, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. 2 People Killed In South Jersey House Fire
Two people were killed in a weekend house fire, authorities said. In the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 20,, police officers along with fire departments from Mullica Township and surrounding areas were dispatched to 1536 Hamburg Ave. for a structure fire. When first responders arrived, the residence was fully engulfed in flames. Three occupants were able to escape without injury, police said. A Delaware man who was formerly a teacher has been sentenced to New Jersey state prison for sexually assaulting a student under 16 years old, authorities said. Thomas Herlihy, 37, of New Castle, Delaware, was sentenced Friday to seven years in a treatment facility for sex offenders, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. A woman has been charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto in a June 2020 crash that left a New Jersey police officer heading home from work dead.
