Authorities seized nine guns, 14 large-capacity ammo magazines, seven bricks of heroin and more in the takedown of a crew that they said sold large amounts of drugs and guns in and around Atlantic City. A an ex-con who failed to register as a sex offender has been arrested in the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl walking to school in South Jersey, authorities said. Horece McZeke, 44, of Galloway Township attacked the girl in a wooded area between the 400 blocks of Brighton and Wellington avenues in Pleasantville around 7:40 a.m. on Dec. 2, Pleasantville police said police. New Jersey's attorney general released surveillance video Friday of an incident involving a 41-year-old Atlantic County Jail inmate who later died after being taken to a local hospital. Hamilton Township police responding to a trespassing call arrested Mario Terruso, of Mays Landing, shortly after 1 p.m. Sept. 15, 2019, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said. They processed Terruso and sent him to the county lockup after finding an outstanding warrant, Grewal said. A pair of ID thieves from Bergenfield stole thousands of dollars from the bank accounts of more than 50 victims, authorities said Tuesday. Borough police worked with members of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Secret Service and police in Brick and Absecon to crack the case.
