Children Critical, NJ Drivers Hospitalized In Wrong-Way NY Crash
A wrong-way, three-vehicle crash in New York sent multiple people to the hospital, including two drivers from New Jersey.
Police responded to a crash in Rockland County at the intersection of Route 303 and Greenbush Road in Blauvelt at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, according to the Orangetown Police Department.
A 2001 BMW X5, driven by 20-year-old Thomas Robb, was southbound, traveling the wrong way on a one-way section of Greenbush Road, and entered the intersection at Route 303, striking a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze driven by a 32-year-old woman from Newark.

Two high-ranking members of the Pagans who were beaten with baseball bats in a barroom brawl sought revenge by shooting at one of the Hells Angels on the New Jersey Turnpike, federal authorities charged.
Larry "Savage" Ortiz, 31, of Elizabeth, and Junius "Jayo" Aquino, aka 38, of Vauxhall, were in a Verona bar when they were attacked on Oct. 21, 2020, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

Authorities recovered eight illegal weapons and arrested seven individuals in what Newark police are calling "an intense violence reduction operation."

Four men were arrested and Atlantic City police recovered two handguns and 50 bags of heroin in separate incidents, authorities said on Monday.
At about 6 p.m. on Friday, Atlantic City police officers William Akins III and Justice Martin responded to the 1600 block of Adriatic Avenue on a report of a hit-and-run crash.

Thirteen shooting suspects were arrested and 29 illegal weapons were recovered in the month in Newark, authorities said Friday.

Separate operations Wednesday produced 359 heroin folds, 107 Ecstasy pills, a handgun and high-capacity magazines, along with seven arrests, Paterson police said.
Responding to area complaints of early-morning drug dealing, city Narcotics Division detectives arrested two people after watching a sale at the corner of Marshall and Main streets around 7:50 a.m., Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.
