: Mega Millions Ticket Worth $1M Purchased At NJ Gas Station
A million-dollar Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Middlesex County convenience store, officials said. The ticket was purchased from the Atlantis Fresh Market at the BP gas station on Route 1 in Edison, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release. The winner matched five numbers in the drawing on Friday, Sept. 20. The winning numbers were 20, 21, 40, 49, and 55. The Mega Ball was 11 and the Megaplier was three. Driver, 62, Killed Negotiating Curve On Garden State Parkway Exit Ramp: Police
A 62-year-old driver was killed in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County this weekend, authorities said. Troy E. Thompson, of Brick Township, was heading south in a Hyundai Tucson when he veered off the roadway to the left while negotiating a curve exiting via the 38A exit ramp Saturday morning, Sept. 21 around 9:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The vehicle overturned and Thompson died. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information was available.
