Davut Batca was behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 when he struck Jelson Cabrera, 35, of Trenton, on Route 46 West near Sandra Drive just before 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said. The person was hit by a Northeast Corridor train for the New Jersey Transit just west of Princeton Junction Station at around 9:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, an NJ Transit spokesperson said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Central Jersey A 42-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Monroe Township, authorities said. The driver was eastbound on Buckelew Avenue near Grace Hill Road at about 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 when he struck the man walking in the roadway, Monroe police said.
