A Bergen County man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of the 2021 murder of his girlfriend, who he stabbed and beat in her home, prosecutors said. Patrick J. Camilli, 59, of Washington Township, was sentenced to life in prison on Dec. 6, following his conviction for the 2021 murder of 51-year-old Mary E. Huber, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella. A 39-year-old Paterson man has been charged with providing the drugs that allegedly resulted in a fatal overdose of a Westwood man in May, authorities said. Jesus A. Cantillo is believed to have provided the drugs that led to the death of 38-year-old Lance Kerness, of Westwood, who was found unresponsive in a home on May 2, 2024, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said on Friday, June 28. Surveillance video helped point Closter police to Tyshawn Culver, a 31-year-old convicted burglar from Westwood, soon after the gun was found on Tuesday, Oct. 24, Capt. Vincent Aiello said.
