A Belmar man has been arrested for allegedly leaving the scene after he struck a Westfield woman with his vehicle earlier this year, crushing her lower body and causing other serious injuries, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. The late principal of Westfield High School widely praised for his service in the military and for his dedication to the students in his charge has received another honor, a Roseland law firm announced Thursday. The Delaware man who was arrested in June when authorities said he was found with a handgun, hollow-point bullets and other weaponry in the parking lot of a Westfield grade school has been indicted by a grand jury, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. The married owners of an Indian restaurant in Westfield are opening a Mediterranean eatery right down the street. Westfield Contractor Ripped Off $135K From Clients: Prosecutor
A contractor in Westfield has been charged after he accepted a down payment to build a new home but never did any of the work, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. Ralph A. Rapuano, 37, agreed to build a $1.35 million home for a couple in October 2018. The couple made an initial payment of $135,000, which Rapuano immediately spent on other projects, the prosecutor's office said. A 37-year-old man admitted he planned to distribute thousands of digital files depicting the sexual exploitation of children, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday. Gregory L.
