One Firefighter Injured In Bayonne Four-Alarm Blaze: Authorities (Updated) This story has been updated One firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling a four alarm fire that spread to two homes in Bayonne on Thursday, Sept. 21, authorities said. At 9:49 a.m, firefighters were on scene of a heavy fire in the rear of both 142 and 144 West 5th St., Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver said. The fire was declared under control at 10:57 a.m., Weaver said. There were no injuries to any residents, while a firefighter was transported to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury, Weaver said.
