Home Catches Fire In Bayonne (Developing) Firefighters were on scene of a structure fire in Bayonne on the morning of Tuesday morning, July 9, the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management said. The fire is at West 44th Street and Avenue B, the Bayonne OEM said. Video provided by the OEM shows smoke billowing from the window. People are asked to avoid the area, the OEM said. Serial Car Burglar Busted In Bayonne: Police A 55-year-old Bayonne man was arrested and charged with breaking into five vehicles in the city over the course of 10 days, authorities said. Jose Quinones was taken into custody on Friday, June 9 on 25th Street and Avenue E for the burglaries committed between Thursday, May 25 and Sunday, June 4. Police had been attempting to locate him for five days. On the afternoon of May 25, Quinones took items from a parked vehicle on West 23rd St, police said.
