Robbers Attempted To Break Into Vehicles, Steal Vespa: Hoboken PD
Three people attempted to break into a garage and later steal a Vespa in Hoboken on Thursday, July 11, authorities said. At 9:40 p.m., three people were seen entering a garage on mini-motorcycles, attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. They were unsuccessful and left, the spokeswoman said. Later that evening, the three suspects attempted to steal a Vespa near the 15th Street and Adams Street but the owner of the vehicle stopped them, authorities said. Support is on the rise for a Trenton mother who lost three of her four children in a five-year span. Toshawn West first lost her first-born, Nuna, then her second-born, Nyshirah, and now, her third, Shydasia Merrick. Authoritiew in Somerset County are investigating a shooting that resulted in a car crashing. On Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 9:09 p.m., Franklin Township Police officers were dispatched to Matilda Avenue for gunshots fired and a vehicle crash, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. A New Jersey man was killed in a violent crash involving a tractor trailer and several cars on the PA Turnpike Friday, July 29, authorities said (scroll for photos). Firefighters Extricate Victim, Summons Issued Following Ridgewood Crash
A female passenger was hospitalized after Ridgewood firefighters extricated her from a minivan that collided with a Honda Civic sedan Sunday night. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed following the crash at Franklin Avenue and North Walnut Street shortly before 9 o'clock. A Glen Rock resident who left an SUV unlocked – with the keys inside – got it back in much different shape, authorities said. Clark Police ID Suspect Vehicle In Fatal Hit-Run
Clark police have released photos of the suspect vehicle that struck and killed an 82-year-old man earlier this week. The suspect vehicle is a red or maroon 1994-2004 Chevy S-10 or GMC Sonoma hit James B. Leinbach 6 a.m. Tuesday near Raritan Road and Clarkton Drive, local police said. Police in Newark are asking the public's help locating a male who damaged several vehicles at a car dealership Tuesday. He broke into A & B Auto Car, 991 18th Ave., after business hours and slashed the tires of several vehicles. He also smashed the windshields of other vehicles.
