Man Struck On NJ Train Tracks, Authorities Say A man was struck on train tracks in New Jersey early Friday morning. New Jersey Transit Police were called to a report of an individual possibly being struck by a train on the Northeast Corridor near Linden Station, according to NJ Transit Spokesman Jim Smith.  There are no initial reports of a NJ Transit train being involved. The man was transported to University Medical Center with unknown injuries.  New Jersey Transit Police remained on the scene.  Northeast Corridor Rail Service has resumed after a brief suspension of rail service due to the incident. Watch: Bodycam Footage Shows NJ Transit Officer Reviving Newborn Baby In Train Station A fast-acting NJ Transit officer revived a lifeless baby born in Newark Penn Station.  He rushed her to the hospital in the passenger's seat of a police car Tuesday morning and didn't stop CPR until he got to the hospital, where she began to cry. Every second was captured by body cameras worn by the officers. The officers responded to a report of a medical event in the women's restroom at Newark Penn Station around 10 a.m., to find a mother cradling her newborn baby in her arms, NJ Transit officials said. Five Injured In Newark Police Pursuit Crash A Newark police pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash that injured a carjacker, two police officers and two civilian before dawn Monday, responders said. All five were taken to University Medical Center after the chase ended in a chain-reaction collision at Hawthorne and Chadwick avenues shortly after 2:30 a.m., they said. He was 14 years old.  Born in Perth Amboy, he lived with his family in Roselle Park before they moved to Kenilworth in 2012.  He attended David Brearly Middle School in Kenilworth and was a student at Magnet High School in Scotch Plains. He loved playing video games and was a fan of the Denver Broncos football team.  Thomas was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Patricia and William Knapp. Surviving are his parents, Thomas and Kathleen;  sister Kayla Bliss; paternal grandparent…
