Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Elizabeth: PD A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Elizabeth on the afternoon of Monday, March 18, authorities said. The man was hit by the car at the intersection of Spring Street and North Avenue, a spokeswoman for the city said. He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said. The victim's age and identity have not been released.
