Crash, Traffic Signal Down On Route 35 (Updated) There was a crash and a traffic signal knocked down along Route 35 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26 northbound north of Route 650 (Chain-O-Hills Road) in Woodbridge Township, according to the NJDOT. Woodbridge police said there were no serious injuries.

Car Smashes Through Front Of Business In Central Jersey A car smashed through the front of a building in Mercer County, authorities said. On Sunday, June 2, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Lawrence Township Police Department received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting that a vehicle had crashed into the building of Worldwide Floor Covering at 2750 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville. Officers arrived on-scene to find the front doors of the business shattered and a 2016 Toyota sedan inside of the building, police said.  The driver of the vehicle, Jinyan Li, 36, of Lawrenceville, was not injured, police said. Watch This: Lightning Strike In Wyckoff Knocks Out Traffic Lights A Wyckoff police dashcam captured video of a lightning strike Friday afternoon that zapped a power line, knocking out power to several customers -- as well as area traffic signals. The bolt hit the line at 12:15 p.m. near the intersection of Wyckoff and Russell avenues, leaving it burning in the roadway, Lt. Joseph Soto said. Wyckoff Avenue was closed in both directions between Franklin and Russell avenues until about 5 p.m.  Orange & Rockland restored most power except for an isolated area around the downed line.  No injuries were reported.
