Lidl Store Replacing Shuttered NJ Toys 'R' Us Sets Opening Date
Lidl is adding another North Jersey store to its fleet at the site of a shuttered Toys 'R' Us store. The budget grocery store is set to open at 599 W Mt. Pleasant Ave. (Route 10) in Livingston on Dec. 11. This new location replaces the former Toys “R” Us that closed in 2018. The grand opening celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:40 a.m., with doors opening at sunrise. Babies R Us Reopening At American Dream
After five years, Babies R Us is back. The retailer, a spinoff of Toys R Us, is reopening at American Dream in East Rutherford on Wednesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. following a ribbon cutting ceremony. Shuttered Paramus Barnes & Noble To Reopen In Former Toys R Us Store
The shuttered Paramus Barnes & Noble is coming back to life. The treasured book store that long stood at 765 Route 17 south on the Ridgewood border will be replacing Big Lots! on Route 17 northbound, the store announced on Facebook. Big Lots ! is set to close in May, store associates tell Daily Voice. The space was formerly home to Toys 'R' Us. "While we are sad to leave this location, we are excited for our next chapter," the store said. Barnes & Noble of Paramus broke hearts last January when it announced it would be closing.

A trapped driver was extricated and flown to a nearby hospital following a serious crash on Route 206, developing reports say. The crash occurred near 178 Rt. 206 in Roxbury Township around 6:30 p.m.on Monday, May 23, according to initial and unconfirmed reports.
