Homicide Suspect In Car Full Of Ski-Masked Men Stopped In Morris County, Chief Says
A group of ski-masked men including one homicide suspect are in police custody after officers stopped them and found 25 stolen checks in the vehicle early Friday, Oct. 4 in Morris County, police said. A Florham Park officer stopped the car for traffic violations and noticed all occupants were wearing ski masks and dressed in all black, Florham Park Police Chief Joseph Orlando said. One of the men in the vehicle, age 18, had been wanted for homicide and had been charged as a juvenile in the crime in an adjacent county, the chief said. A search for a suspicious man who was allegedly spotted by a worker at an assisted living center on Route 10 initiated a full-scale police investigation, authorities said. Police in Hanover responded to Weston Assisted Living at 905 Rt. 10 in Whippany just after 7:25 p.m. after receiving a call from a worker about a suspicious man that had entered the building, the department said in a press release. Know anything? Police are seeking information and surveillance footage on a suspicious man who approached and grabbed a student who was walking to school in Morristown. The male student was approached from behind by a man while walking to school near Sussex Avenue and Mills Street in the morning on Monday, Oct. 17, the Morristown Department of Public Safety said in a Facebook post. A student waiting at a Morris County bus stop was filmed by a man behind the wheel of a sedan in what police are calling a “suspicious incident.” The student was filmed near the School House Lane-Mount Pleasant Road area in Mendham around 7:50 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, township police said. The suspect vehicle was a silver sedan driven by a man in his 30s or 40s, authorities said. “Please be vigilant at school bus stops and report any suspicious activity immediately,” the Mendham Township Police Department said.

A Montclair homeowner told police that a middle-aged man stopped to take photos of his young daughter and her friend playing outside before jogging away, authorities said.
