Man Broke Into Newark Jewelry Store With Hammer: Police
A man is at large after he broke into a Newark jewelry store using a hammer on Friday, Sept, 6, authorities said. At noon, the suspect walked up to Vinhas Jewelry at 87 Ferry St. and broke the store’s front window with a small black hammer, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The suspect, a Black male in his late 30s, reached through the small hole he created and grabbed several pieces of jewelry before fleeing, Fragé said. Police and the FBI are searching for a woman who robbed the TD Bank in Princeton at gunpoint. The woman walked into TD Bank on Route 206 at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, handed a note to a teller demanding cash and warned the worker against sounding an alarm, according to Princeton police and the FBI. She pulled a handgun from her pocket, pointed it at the employee and ordered two tellers to go into the vault to retrieve more money, authorities said. Man With Distinct Scar, Neck Tattoo Cuts Monmouth County Jogger In Sex Assault: Prosecutor
A man with a distinct neck tattoo and scar is wanted in the sexual assault of a jogger in a county park last week, authorities in Monmouth County said. The jogger was running near Henry Hudson Trail in Marlboro when she noticed a man stretching nearby around 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced Saturday said.
