Driver Extricated And Flown To Hospital As Car Veers Off Rt. 80 Into Woods, State Police Say A driver was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries after veering off Route 80 and into the woods during the afternoon on Monday, Oct. 17, state police said. Troopers responding to the crash near milepost 21 in Allamuchy Township found that an Infiniti FX3 ran off the eastbound lanes and into the woods around 3:45 p.m., NJSP Sgt. 2 Airlifted In Double Motorcycle Crash On Route 78 In Hunterdon County Two motorcyclists were airlifted to the hospital in a Route 78 crash in Hunterdon County Monday evening, authorities said. Darrin Robinson, 23, was headed westbound on a Suzuki motorcycle when he struck the back of a Honda motorcycle operated by Altaron Robinson, 26, in Bethlehem Township around 7:20 p.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry said. The Suzuki overturned and the Honda ran off the road, ejecting both riders near mile post 8.8, Curry said.
