Three people were charged with money laundering and similar offenses after they were caught manufacturing counterfeit cash in Morris County, authorities said. The suspects — whose names were not released — were stopped by Roxbury Township Police for acting suspiciously on Friday, April 15, the department said. A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle that failed to wait for officers to arrive before leaving the scene, according to police in Morris County who are attempting to track down the driver. The cyclist was hit on Hillside Avenue at the Beechwood Drive intersection in Roxbury Township around 5 p.m. Thursday, police said. Police Search For Clues After Driver Hits Pedestrian In Morris County Crosswalk, Speeds Off
Police in Morris County are searching for clues after a driver struck a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk and sped away Thursday evening. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while using the crosswalk on Route 10 West near South Street in Roxbury around 6:30 p.m., township police said. The vehicle — which may have been a pickup truck — fled the scene before police arrived, authorities said.
