Retired Police Chief Opens Chick-fil-A On Route 46 Thursday, May 2, will be a big day for chicken lovers in Morris County. Chick-fil-A announced its the opening date of the new Parsippany location at 1180 Route 46.  The restaurant will be open for pick-up, dine-in, drive-thru and carryout from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the drive-thru open until 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday. Chick-fil-A will be closed Sundays, of course. The restaurant will be opened by Charlie Atie, the former police chief in Prospect Park. First Weehawken, Now Hasbrouck Heights: Another North Jersey Houlihan's Closes Now that the Houlihan’s restaurant on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights hasn’t made it to New Year’s, some are wondering: Which one is next? Earlier this year, the company that owns the chain closed its Weehawken location, along with one in Lawrenceville.
