19-Year-Old Linden Woman Killed In Crash: Roselle PD
A 19-year-old Linden resident was killed in a crash in Roselle on Halloween night, authorities said. At 11:40 p.m., a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox traveling westbound, struck a curb, veered through a fence line and, continued through an open lot and came to rest in an adjoining Wawa parking lot, a spokesman for the Borough of Roselle said. Brandon Amaro, a 21-year-old Roselle resident, was identified as the victim in a two-car crash on Saturday, June 29, authorities said. At 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a crash between a BMW and a Subaru on the 400 block of East 1st Avenue, Roselle police said. Authorities are investigating a fiery crash that let one person dead in Roselle. It happened on the in the 400 block of East 1st Street where two vehicles purportedly collided head-on. Police confirmed that the accident was fatal but provided no details beyond that. News12 says the victim was a 21-year-old man in a BMW, the vehicle that caught fire. A 49-year-old Roselle man was sentenced to 10 years in state prison on Friday, May 24, after being convicted of distributing heroin and fentanyl, authorities said. A Linden man has been arrested in the Warinanco Park killing of a 29-year-old man last weekend, authorities said. Gerald O. Walker, 47, shot Shakir Manns, also of Linden, at the park in Roselle around 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, the county prosecutor's office said. Police ID Scooter Operator Killed By Car In NJ
A man on an electric scooter died after he became trapped underneath a vehicle that struck him in Union County on Wednesday, March 20, police said. Lamar McBride, 46, was heading south in the northbound lanes of N. Wood Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle turning onto E. Gibbons Street in Linden around 2:30 p.m, Linden police said. Juvenile Detained After Bomb Threat At High School: Roselle PD
A juvenile has been taken to custody after a bomb threat caused an evacuation at Abraham Clark High School in Roselle on Monday, Jan. 8, authorities said. At 11:23 a.m., law enforcement was dispatched to the high school and began a sweep of the premises, finding no presence of harmful devices, police said. A pedestrian was critically hurt in a crash in Linden, authorities said. At 5:22 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Linden police responded to 2040 E.
