Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured On Garden State Parkway
A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a camper on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The Ford E350 Camper was heading south when it struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the roadway at milepost 145.2 in Irvington around 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

Pedestrian Survives Train Strike In Hudson County: NJ Transit
A pedestrian was truck by a train in Harrison on the early morning of Sunday, Aug. 18, authorities said. At 12:50 a.m., Morris and Essex train 6907 struck the pedestrian just east of Broad Street Station, NJ Transit said. The train had departed New York Penn Station at 12:34 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Dover at 2:13 a.m., NJ Transit said. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, NJ Transit said. An investigation is ongoing, NJ Transit said.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Central Jersey
A 42-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Monroe Township, authorities said. The driver was eastbound on Buckelew Avenue near Grace Hill Road at about 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 when he struck the man walking in the roadway, Monroe police said. The driver was unable to avoid the pedestrian, police said. The driver and a front-seat passenger were not injured. A pedestrian was struck by a car in Sussex County Monday afternoon, state police said. A 25-year-old was hit by a Hyundai Kona on Route 206 S. at the entrance to the shopping center in front of the McDonald’s in Hampton Township just before 1 p.m., NJSP Sgt. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Toyota Friday afternoon while walking on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County, authorities said. Pedestrian Struck, Killed In Cranford Crash
A pedestrian was struck and killed in an early-morning crash Tuesday in Cranford, authorities said. The pedestrian was crossing Springfield Avenue when they were struck by a 51-year-old Kenilworth man heading south and approaching Orange Avenue, in a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, local police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, where they later died. The Hyundai driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. A 49-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized after she was struck Tuesday by an SUV in Englewood. The victim was crossing East Palisade Avenue off Jones Road when she was struck by a Nissan Rogue driven by a 70-year-old woman around 9 a.m., Deputy Police Chief Gregory Halstead said. The driver had been turning from Jones Road headed east on Palisades Avenue, he said. Pedestrian Seriously Injured Near Accident Scene In Totowa
A pedestrian was hospitalized with what responders said they believed were life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a car Thursday night in Totowa while a police officer was investigating a nearby crash that occurred moments earlier. The freak accident occurred in front of the Delta gas station on Union Boulevard and Boyle Avenue around 5 p.m. The officer was writing his report when the woman was hit.
