Singin' In The Train: Acts Audition For Regular Gig At PATH Stations
Buskers, dancers and other kinds of entertainers have long used the PATH train system running between Newark and New York as their stage, albeit an informal one.
Now, the Port Authority, the bi-state agency that runs PATH, wants to make those performances official.
The Port Authority recently held auditions for acts that will be allowed to do their thing at five PATH stations: Hoboken, Journal Square, Harrison, Newport and Exchange Place.
