Bayonne Fire Displaces Dozens Of People Two Bayonne homes suffered heavy damage in a fire Wednesday night, authorities said.  The blaze broke out on E. 16th Street around 6 p.m. in a garbage can between the two homes, News 12 New Jersey reported. The fire spread to both and went to multiple alarms before it was brought under control in about an hour.  A total of 39 people were displaced by the fire, News 12 reported.  A woman suffered a minor injury and three firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion.

Several Homes Reportedly Damaged In Irvington Fire A fire that broke out on Franklin Place in Irvington early Wednesday morning damaged as many as 10 buildings, News 12 New Jersey reported.  The fire started around 2 a.m. in a vacant home and quickly spread to neighboring structures as well as cars.  There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remained under investigation early Wednesday.  Ten people, including three people, have been displaced.
