Shots Fired At Newark Detectives, Three In Custody: Police An investigation into four males ended with shots fired at Newark Police Detectives on Wednesday, March 29.  Detectives were conducting their inquiry on Malvern Street & Pulaski Street at 10 p.m., when one suspect fired a shot at the detectives, Fragé said. Detectives did not return fire and pursued the suspects on foot, Fragé said. Three suspects were apprehended and a handgun was recovered, Fragé said.  One suspect remains at large, Fragé said.
