Elizabeth Woman's Killer Captured: Cops
Gerard Manning has been captured. The 30-year-old man wanted in the killing of Victoria Myers on Thanksgiving morning in Elizabeth has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said. Myers was found dead on Mravlag Manor Thursday morning, Nov. 23, officials said. Manning was on the lam ever since, and was arrested Friday, Nov. 24, Daniel said. : Suspect In Deadly Elizabeth Shooting Arrested
UPDATE: The prosecutor's office said Wednesday a man has been arrested in connection with this case. Read more here. The Union County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a shooting that took the life of an Elizabeth man Tuesday morning. Police were sent to the Mravlag Manor housing complex to investigate reports of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. They found Alfonso James, 27, who had been shot.
