Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In Sussex County Crash
A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sussex County crash over the weekend. Frank Jimeno, of West New York, was heading north on Route 23 on a KTM motorcycle when he veered off the side of the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail in Montague Township at milepost 50 Sunday, Oct. 6 around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Jimeno died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Victim Airlifted As Toyota Slams Into Pole In Sussex County: State Police
One person was flown to a nearby hospital after a Toyota veered off the roadway and struck a pole in Sussex County, state police confirmed. A Toyota Camry slammed into the pole after veering off the roadway near 331 River Rd. in Montague Township around 3:25 p.m. on Monday, June 20, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com. One occupant was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Slota said. Additional details were not released.

Prosecutor: Jersey City Man, 28, Pleads Guilty To Meth Possession Charge In Sussex County
A Jersey City man pleaded guilty to possession of meth in Sussex County, authorities said. Charles Burbeng, 28, entered the guilty plea to an indictment for third-degree possession of CDS and a driving while suspended offense during a hearing Thursday at the Sussex County Courthouse in Newton, Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said. Burbeng admitted to possessing meth tablets and driving with a suspended license in Montague Township on Jan. 25, 2019, Koch said. Burbeng will be sentenced on June 3. New Jersey State Trooper J.C. Rodriguez also assisted with the investigation.
