Firefighters Battle 3-Alarm Blaze In Middlesex County
Two homes were heavily damaged by a three-alarm fire that started in a garage in Middlesex Borough, authorities said. On Friday, June 14, at 2:40 a.m., the Middlesex Borough Police Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 832 West Second Street. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed that a garage was fully engulfed in flames. Prior to the fire spreading to 836 West Second Street, officers were able to safely evacuate the occupants of both residences, Middlesex police said. Middlesex County Man, 18, Charged With Running Child Porn Sharing Program
A Middlesex County man was arrested on accusations he ran a child pornography sharing program from his home on Friday, authorities said. Aofei Zou, 18, of Middlesex, was charged with second-degree using a file-sharing program to store items depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of children and third-degree possession of child pornography, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Matthew P. Teens Charged In Middlesex County Arson Fire
Authorities charged two teens with torching a Middlesex County commercial building Thursday night. Arrested Friday were Ryan Deahl and Eric Mejia-Vides, both 18. Both are charged with arson, burglary and conspiracy to commit both, Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Middlesex Borough Police Chief Matthew Geist said in a joint release. Deahl also was charged with having a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, they said.
